Prof. Dr. Stefan Krankenhagen

professor for Cultural Studies and Popular Culture and the University of Hildesheim


His research focuses are the

depiction of history in popular media, sports and fanculture, discourses of modernity (naivity, authenticity, non-presentability). Prof. Krankenhagen is the co-founder of the international soccer festival 11mm in Berlin.


He published several studies, such as Exhibiting Europe: Institutions, People, Collections and Narratives in History MuseumsFiguren des Dazwischen. Naivität in Kunst, Pop- und Populärkultur with Hans-Otto Hügel, Aus der Halbdistanz. Fußballbiografien und Fußballkulturen heute and Auschwitz darstellen. Ästhetische Positionen zwischen Adorno, Spielberg und Walser. 

Mikael Thierry

french filmmaker and producer based in Dublin, the founder and director of the Dublin Web Fest


Mikaels short film Joe Drummer was selected for the Chicago Irish Film Festival in 2011 and for the 2011 Dingle Film Festival. He then moved towards the web series format. He has directed the first episodes of a comedy web series titled Ash Airways which were selected for the LA Web Fest.


He set up Twisted Mirror Films Ltd and created the first Irish web series and digital content festival: The Dub Web Fest.


Eva Brazdžionytė

Evas responsibility is to provide assistance for Lithuanian audiovisual sector professionals on how to benefit from EU audiovisual sectors support program Creative Europe MEDIA. Each year Eva visits the most important international film festivals, such as Cannes, Berlinale, as well as trainings, markets, pitching forums and has a knowledge of European audiovisual market. 


She started her project management carrier in O. Koršunovas theatre, had been working for various International film festivals in Lithuania, contributed to the Lithuanian Shorts Agency, Cinema BoutiqueKino Pasaka, advertising agency Not Perfect, and Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius, to mention a few activities. Eva holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Culture Management and Cultural Policy by UNESCO department of Vilnius Academy of Arts.
